Red Dog Poker

Red Dog is a simple card game, also known as Acey-Deucey and In-Between. Finding this game in a land based casino can be tricky, but online it is quite common. It is played with one or several standard 52 card decks on a semicircular table much like in Blackjack. There are two spots "bet" and "raise" that you can bet on.

Card point values:
Each card of rank 2-10 is worth its face value in points. A Jack counts as 11, a Queen as 12, a King as 13, and an Ace counts as 14.

Playing the game
To begin the game each player makes a wager on the betting spot, the dealer will then place two cards face up.

If the two up cards would be consecutive, like a six and a seven, the hand would be over and all players would get their wagers back.

If the two up cards would be a pair a third card is dealt, if the hand ends up as a three of a kind all players win 11:1, otherwise the hand is a push.

If the up cards are neither consecutive or a pair the dealer will announce two things, the spread and the odds that apply to that specific spread. The spread would be the number of card values that lie between the first two cards, so a 10 and a 5 has a spread of 4, because it is a four card gap in between the two cards. The higher the spread is the higher the chances of winning is. But, and this is where it gets tricky, higher spreads has lower odds.

The objective of the game now is to bet on the likelihood that the rank of a third card will fall within the spread, when that happens the player wins according to the announced odds. So based on the spread and what the odds are the players now have the option of raising their initial wager, which means doubling it.

O jogo
Para começar cada jogador aposta no lugar certo, o crupiê entrega a ele duas cartas viradas para cima.

Se essas duas cartas forem consecutivas, como um 6 e um 7, jogo termina e todos recolhem suas apostas de volta.

Se as cartas forem pares, uma terceira carta é incluída, se o jogo terminar com um three of a kind, três do mesmo tipo, o jogador vence de 11:1. Ao contrário, o jogo é rejeitado.

Se as cartas não forem consecutivas e nem pares, o crupiê anunciará duas coisas, estenderá e aplicará os lucros nessas cartas. A extensão é o número de cartas que estão entre as duas primeiras, como 10 e o 5, existe a de 4, dado que tem uma variedade de quatro cartas entre duas. A maior extensão tem as maiores chances de vencer. Porém sempre sejam difícies, as maiores possuem os menores lucros.

O objetivo do jogo é apostar na ordem da terceira carta que cairá numa extensão, quando isso acontecer o jogador vence de acordo com certos lucros. Assim, baseado na extensão e nos lucros que os jogadores possuem, agora há a opção de aumentar a aposta inicial, que significa dobrá-la.
